O ever Immaculate Virgin of Lourdes !
You appeared to Bernadette, who was poor, unknown and scorned.
You watched over her, you consoled her and protected her. You revealed to her that which your Son chooses to conceal from the haughty and the proud but reveals to the humble.
O Mother of Mercy ! Like your Son, you chose the poor and the disdained to announce to the world that you are the Immaculate Conception.
O loving Mother, I beg your intercession.
With St. Bernadette, watch over the world, console the broken-hearted and obtain comfort and peace for all those who put their confidence in you and implore your motherly protection.
